Rally Ready Motorsports was founded in 2005 as Dave Carapetyan Racing. In 2004, Dave Carapetyan started his driving career in a 1998 Acura Integra Type-R with CRC Motorsports in Hutto, TX. After securing a win at their first event and a national title at their second, Dave branched out on his own to form Project-LMD, the company in charge of overseeing his racing operation. Project-LMD was started in a small 800 sq ft 3 bay shop in central Austin, TX that was formerly a print shop. The shop evolved many times through the years as the racing program grew from 1 race car to 3 race cars and dozens of customer and project cars. In 2007 there was a major restructure as the team moved to the premier Open category. Increased costs called for new means and Rally Ready Motorsports was created not only to oversee the racing operations but as a retail business as well. The experience gained over 4 seasons of racing in Rally and Pikes Peak was put to use and Dave and Rally Ready began sales of specialty rally and racing equipment to competitors nationwide.
In fall of 2009, Rally Ready moved to a much larger shop in south Austin with over 3 times the size of their original facility. Much care and attention was paid to the layout to provide the most effective and professional work environment for building and maintaining the companies 3 competition cars.
As a racing team, Rally Ready has learned the in's an out's of competition and precision both in business and in racing.
